Camping Site Reviews: Upper Davies Creek Campground, QLD

This campground is located besides Davies Creek in Dinden National Park - a short drive from Cairns, in far north QLD. The creek has a number of swimming holes, and is a great place to get out and explore the nature.

After heavy rainfall the creek really gets going, and it is not recommended to enter - however it is an impressive sight.

There are 8 sites available and it is well suited for tents, with plenty of shade available.

Cost: $5.95 per person per night
Pets: Not allowed
Toilets and Showers: Longdrop or composting toilets
BBQ and Picnic: Wood barbeques available (bring firewood and check bans) - Picnic Tables also available
Fishing: No
Swimming: There are swimming holes in the creek and river nearby
Horse Riding: No
