Campsite Review: Heron Point Campground, WA

Heron Point Campground is located on the white sandy beaches just south of Perth in Western Australia. The campground has basic facilities. There is only 25 sites available on this campground.

Fires are allowed during certain periods, but must be contained within a fire pit. The allowed period is between the 1stof May and the 30th of October - however this can change depending on seasonal conditions, so be sure to check with the Shire of Murray.

Fishing is popular in this location, and there is a boat ramp located nearby. The Blue Swimmer Crab is commonly spotted in the calm shallows here, so if you are really keen, you can give the old crab catching method a go.
